Data Mediation
The data mediation process detects and analyzes a wide range of protocols and extracts an exhaustive set of meaningful variables, including both transactional context and key content parameters. The business rules used to sort and categorize extracted data are fully customizable, and can be modified to create data categories of special interest such as mobile competition, portal visit breakdowns, specific CSP services and competing OTT services.

Data Mediation provides functions for fine tuning extracted network data, so that it is presented in a meaningful way. Since the same capture mechanism is used for all mobile data, it produces uniform data sets, eliminating the need for reconciling uneven sets from multiple sources.
